Lara, what's your general recommendation for the length (average) of daily workouts? I've been taking “Lara-classes” for a number of years now (first on one-o-eight and then LYT). All your classes are amazing and provide a brain-spark every single day!!
I especially love LYT because there is a new class every day, which naturally makes me want to show up every time. And this is true for a number of different reasons:
(1) I am way too curious and I don't want to miss out on any of the goodness. So, I really appreciate that classes go away after a certain amount of time. There is no voice in my head anymore that keeps on repeating "you can do it later". Simply because, there is no later. Love it!
(2) With a new “Lara-creation” every day, my brain can't anticipate the discomfort (I mean this in a good way!!) I'm going to experience. Sometimes when I experienced a really tough class on one-o-eight (like e.g. your Ninja Training class), I knew I had to do this one on a weekly basis. But knowing how hard it was the week before, I unconsciously dreaded it. With LYT, *not knowing* what's coming my way is actually a bliss, and I'm looking forward to it every single morning without dread but curiosity in my mind.
Regarding the length of a daily workout routine, I feel my body responding best (meaning, heating up well without stopping too early) to 1-hour workouts. I absolutely love the shorter workouts -- they are creative and intense, no question! But I miss the part that lets me push through the heat just a little longer. Am I weird, or what? (don't answer that LOL).
So, what is, in your opinion, the recommended length of a daily workout routine that not only sustains but improves core strength?
Thanks so much for all you and your amazing team do!!
