Think of all the ways you need to turn up the volume in your lives to tune in and tune up!
Start with the block between your thighs in a low bridge to establish a neutral pelvis. Also begin stretching out your wrists by pulling back on your fingers with the thumb out to the side. Repeat the stretch on the opposite arm. With the block at your knees, lift the tailbone up and let the legs come just a little bit closer to your torso - you will really feel the hip flexors working and some engagement in your core as well!
Moving onto all fours and keeping the belly taught, we are going to begin to lubricate the hip joints. A great way to tune up is to circle at the hip! It awakens and hydrates that joint. The pelvis itself is still and you want to aim to lubricate the joint. Bend the knees enough so that you are maintaining the lift in the upper back. This motion will begin to waken up the lower back, glutes, and hamstrings and it will really prep. the body for greater demand!
Lower onto your back and take however long you need to wind down should you choose to enter savasana. When. you're ready, join me in a seated position. Feel the energy flow. It really doesn't take much to tune in to your body's frequency - to tune up all the joints and move them in all the ways they are designed to move. Take this energy and bring it out into the world to share so that all others may enjoy! Namaste!
