Blocks are so underrated in the fitness world. They are particularly useful with all things yoga! Utilizing a block and placing it between your legs really helps to awaken all the fascia and regions that we usually experience tightness in: the hips, the pelvis, lower back, groin, and deep transverse abdominals.
Focusing on breathing and really squeezing certain muscle groups really helps to engage all the areas of restriction. Pushing the block away from you while actively trying to create resistance will light up your muscles like you've never experienced before. This will give you a feeling of euphoria once you finish and truly encompasses the meaning of the phrase, "Get LYT"! Namaste!
