Blocks are great to help you integrate more, particularly when entering Sun Salutation! I've said it before and in many other videos, but blocks are grossly underrated! They help you to really integrate, to feel the depth of the core, and to engage muscles that would otherwise go underutilized and unnoticed. They help you consolidate into midline, and engage the deep muscles that exist under the superficial ones.
When most people exercise or do yoga, they are focusing or envisioning only the superficial muscles (which look great when developed), but without the strength of the deep muscle tissue the functionality of the muscles to work doesn't exist at all!
Use the block and you'll notice a WORLD of difference! Namaste!
